For instance, a French speaker, an Arabic speaker, and a Swahili speaker want to have real-time conversation among themselves with the help of an interpreter who is proficient in Swahili and English (“Interpreter”). Note that at present there is no Conversational Voice AI support between Swahili and English.
TMUscribe and TMUslate can be utilized as follows:
When the Swahili speaker speaks, the Interpreter interprets the Swahili speech into speech in English, TMU’s transcription function transcribes the speech in English into English text and TMU’s translation function translates the English text into French text and Arabic text. When the Arabic speaker or the English speaker or the French speaker speaks, the speech is transcribed into Arabic, English and French, and the Interpreter can read the English text and translate and speak it in Swahili for the Swahili speaker to hear. Note that the above-described conversation takes place in TMU virtual interaction / video conference. The entire interaction session is captured and recorded in multimedia.
